My children are the most important things in my life.
I' loved the poem and appreciate your ability to meet the syllable count. Good job.

People that endure trials such as yours are brave, in my eyes. I can only imagine the hurt you must have felt. I'm sorry for your loss. Your poem spoke to me. Thanks for sharing. Love. Zack

When you get ahold of a new format that you like, there's no stopping you. You did a fine job of this. Sorry to hear about your mother.
1,10,2,9,3,8,4,7,5,6,6,5,7,4,8,3,9,2,10,1. You did a perfect job of the syllable count as well.

Hello Friend! So....here is what happened; I have influenza and spent over three hours at an Urgent Care facility waiting to see a doctor this afternoon. I found a scrap of paper at the bottom of my purse and just started writing! The time really went by quickly!!!! Am glad you enjoyed my offering.....Am off to bed! diane

This is a lovely poem. I enjoyed the read, I felt sort of reassured. The poem tells of how much the parents love the child, then how much the child loves the parents, by being there, and looking after them.
A lovely read, HUgs, V,xxx

This is an absolutely lovely poem. It truly speaks of the fears and role-reversal seen in families of Alzheimer's patients. The child becomes the parent and it's a difficult thing for some to endure.
Your author's notes were especially helpful in understanding the message in this poem. I'm sorry to hear of your mother's illness and death, and I hope writing of it helps to soothe your loss.
