Wow I love your poem and such a tribute to an amazing man. You have shown me a lovely way to express poems in such a different way to what I write like.
Congratulations and good luck in the contest.

Thank you for the five stars and comment. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday is coming up and I decided to Revive this poem so people could read it.
I noticed you have congratulations and etc., I just wanted you to know that it was in the Revive status because I was out before.
Thanks for reading it.

I lived his moment and the geographic area, it all happened. Heard it all and knew some involved. Spearhead. Lived through Kennedy and his force integration, trying to right the wrong the democrats did to the Blackman by not educating him after the Civil War and waiting until 1968 before having a person like King to spearhead the day. Good tribute.

I love MLK...this is a fine short tribute to him. The site has strict rules against reposting anything, so I recommend removing your author's note, as someone might report it (not me, of course--I am simply reporting it to you. Another thought would be to alter it or augment it so it becomes a new poem...perhaps add another stanza...
I like the rhymes. Good rhythm too. GREAT subject. Great Man!
Best Wishes,

I don't remember if I sent this or not but thanks for the review and stars.
I am going to take this off since tomorrow is his birthday and I will look
into the rules because I do not want to violate anything.
You honesty is very much appreciated. God bless.

A great man, Artura, and one well worthy of remembrance on the occasion of this forthcoming anniversary. Thank you for resurrecting this poem to remind us.

Thank you for re posting this poem it speaks highly of a man who wanted everyone to get along. If could love each other that would be great, but he was ok with "getting along."
The piece has all the rhyming requirements of a quatrain poem. Each line is a history lesson of the accomplishment of this great soul.

Always a good time to be reminded about positive aspects of world history, especially considering how bleak things appear at the moment.
Nicely realised poem with a great message.

This is a strong, well written (but short) poem of a man with high standards and strong regards for his people. He was a mighty man of dreams. Not only his dreams but the dreams of his people. And - not only his people, but ALL PEOPLE He deserved the Nobel Prize; he earned it, my friend. This was an excellent praise of a great man.
Always with respect,

I thought of him and this is the least I could do in remembrance.
