A very well-written poem about Martin Luther King Jr. and his idea of freedom against being labelled as a certain race that is different from another and that made us racists.

Thank you for reviewing my revived work. I just had to put it back out during the week we celebrate him.

For a nation that holds equality as self evident it seems to take the USA an unconscionable time to put that into high minded ideal into practice. Mind you we Brits can be as bad but we never claimed it as self evident. We invented the class system - or was it the French?

I am always in awe of Martin Luther King. Because he wanted peaceful marches. He was a scholar and a gentleman. America and the world are better for his life.
Thanks for the revive reminder
God bless

Thank you for reviewing my revived work. This is the least I can do in appreciation for what he has done.

Very appropriate to bring it out in Revive Status in honor of Dr. King's birthday. He truly did have a dream. It seems the populations at large has forgotten that. Good subject, treated well. Good job.

Thank you for reviewing my revived work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. . The population minds have changed but if they go back and think about who it was that or who they were, they will start to see his way and do better by living an intelligent orderly life. He would want that. He would want us to work with people and show them we are people who can get the job done also.
Somebody, either self or with help had to step out. Take a leap of faith.
If we are misguided, we could lose our way.

Well thought reply. Dr. King would be unhappy with the country today.

I am afraid a lot of people in the USA are misguided today. Add prayer to that leap of faith and we may still pull out of the current morass.

Thank you for taking the time to review my revived work. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a man who experienced discrimination and stepped forward to eliminate as much as he could peacefully.

A remarkable man. He made all the difference in the civil rights movement. He was all about love and peace. I think he would cringe to see some of the violence that's been acted out...in the name of peace. A lovely poem, blessings...

This is lovely. Short, to the point, effective.

It describes the saintly man very well, includes the main purpose of his life, and inspires hope.

I don't know what the contest requirements were, but my only suggestion otherwise would be to make the poem longer.

This is an excellent poem. You have a strong steady beat and a smooth flow of rhyming words. I can hear your poem read out loud. This is a great poem for Martin Luther King's birthday.
