life is gone....
never....

the mystery
is always there....

what a lovely thought that life will never go and a mystery is always there just around the corner
as we celebrate holiday seasons whether true belief or not it is something in there
the thought of a mystery was he
or wasn't he the miracle every one wanted to see
i personally believe and i understand those who don't
though the poem is on a different topic to a degree i won't
say this doesn't tie in to faith fully
this is a lovely poem by a lovely
person who is a blessing even when she doesn't realize it
to people who read her every word feeling it more than a bit

Shelley

How nice you write about life, it gave me pleasure so much so that I read it for again and again. You said some comments from Easy motivated you to write such a nice poem and I tell you that your thoughts expressed here about life is full of life which motivated me to add two more lines to your poem at the end - would you mind if I express here my dear friend?

"life is gone....
never....

the mystery
is always there....

remaining ever alive
on the contrary...

Again, your words have strength. The contrasts (without which life would quickly be gone) of life are very nicely presented. I saw nothing to change.

How you jump from subject to subject like a moth circling a candle. Can't hear you, and only catch glimpses of you, but yet you disappear and leave such beautiful words inscribed in the illumination...Tecate

Shelley,

Very nice poem. I saw no errors. My favorite part was- life is luscious....with the soft green grass of summer, beautiful newborns of colorful flowers, crisp chill of autumn turning
to winter, and a white blanket nourishing the earth

It is so descriptive!

its beautiful Shelly. you have managed to portray all the faces of life. truly everyone feels like that and thus can relate to everything you have said. i love this stanza
life is found....
in a child's first smile,
lovers' first kiss
the twinkle in the eye
as you meet "the one"
for the first time

its so beautifully presented. i love it.

cheers, Maryam

I am honored Shelley both because my words inspired this write but more so because of the quality of the creation itself. You confirm my belief that creativity of any kind is a magical experience, vague in it's essence, yet blatant in it's effect when accomplished with discipline and talent. You did good. easy

Excellent...."river rapids of tears"......I love that
Life captured, dissected and explained.
Very well done
Reminds me that life is just life and everything else is just relative
