Short 3 line poem, but says enough to be a full novel. There is so many wars going on at the moment, and so many tears of sadness, grief and which will one day turn to hatred from the children. And so the next generation of war mongers are being schooled now. What a sad world we live in. Well done, my friend. Good luck in the contest. :) Sandra xx

    Thanks, Sandra.

It is surreal to me, the world seems to have been hijacked. The norms that we have grown up with are being eroded. Untruths and lies and the shady characters that support them are playing central roles in many aspects of life. I wonder if the good guys can turn this around before it is all too late. Indifference is a killer.

Beautiful use of this form!!!! very emotionally penetrative and thought provoking. that there are no stars is such a good metaphor on the second read.

This sounds like a sad scene painted with rain drops as tears. You created a sorrowful atmospheric here for the contest, I wish you luck, love Dolly x x x
