This four-line poem, Still Wrapped, has the proper formatting and seems to speak to the abortion issue. If I am wrong, I am sorry. The sadness comes through.

I'm with you, Kahpot, I don't see things getting any better, so yes, with much sadness, but relief, lets go back to the sender!

I know for sure, we'd get better treatment...God loves All of us!

Good 4 line entry...Good Luck!

All the best to you and yours!

Warmly,
Victoria

-Nice artwork and presentation, kahpot.
-I agree with your note about doing better than we are.
-The syllable count is good, along with the topic.
-You do a good job establishing the premise
of the gifts we have been given at birth.
-You make a good point at the end that
we are not doing the job we should be
about protecting and appreciating these rights.
-Good luck in the contest.

Very powerful and thought provoking poem. Born with the freedom to choose, it's sad mankind doesn't not have enough love for their fellow men to maintain peace. Well said.

Hi Kym,
This is a good melding of words and artwork about the circle of life.
We are all given gifts in life and we are always not ready for death,
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Enjoy the rest of your week

Aww I was hoping for a more positive ending there and it was not to be. I'm so sorry that there is this sadness within your gift wrap but I wouldn't send it back. Without sorrow, we wouldn't know happiness. An intriguing and thought-provokingly original post! Well done and good luck in more ways than one! Take care Debbie

Oh Kahpot, such a sad poem and yet so appropriate for the present state of our world. And it could apply to a baby who has died as well. I like the thoughtful ambiguity. Makes the reader think. Well done. Best wishes for this clever entry.

Got it... I think but why would you return the three to the sender whoever that may have been. Did He have a shortage? Seems, He may have. I see the Ukraine, Taiwan and of course, take your pick in the Middle East.
