Your photo of the mountains in Las Cruces is lovely Patricia and so is your poem about never walking alone, whether it be in mountains or valley, He is always with you. A lovely presentation,
cheers,
valda

Hi Pat, I love when you write about Las Cruces because of my cherished friend who lived their. Your poem is beautifully penned. Of special note:

as He guides His wandering sheep.
(And some of His sheep wander far and wide--sometimes too far away from Him.)

Well done. Xo. Margaret

I happen to be a huge fan of mountains. They always remind me of how majestic God is. I'm not that far away, I'm in Texas. Thank you for sharing this poem and this photograph with us. It's a lovely reminder of God's love for us.

Love the landscape image. Beautiful area. Nice abcb rhymed poem with a very good spiritual message. The last three lines didn't rhyme and made it feel incomplete to me.

Aw, what a sweet poem inspired by a sermon. How wonderful to think of our Good Shepherd and how he looks over us even in our sleep. He'll come after us when we stray. So comforting, my friend, and I thank you for the shared devotional.

Hugs,
Rhonda

Lovely one, Patricia! The photo is amazing, and yes, snow covered would be very special. You are right. He is with us through every valley, and as we climb every difficult mountain.

Those mountains look rugged and steep. I'm reminded of Psalm 23 by your poem, with our Great Shepherd caring for us. One typo: when we're (fast) asleep. I wanted a fourth line in the final stanza, but the message is good. Blessings. Carol

You're welcome. I hope you're doing well. I'm trying to read a post or two from many, but can't read everything and still care for my husband. Have a blessed week.

Lovely picture of the mountains. I think the large rocks look like sheep. Your poem has a lovely thought. I think you'd have a better flow by eliminating some words. In the first stanza, for instance, "on Mountains tall/ or in valleys so deep/the Lord is with us/as he cares for his sheep. You might add another line in the last stanza to balance it with the four in your other stanzas. judi

Those mountains look unusual and a bit like the surface of the moon! Your words are well chosen for this poem and I enjoyed the sentiment as we appreciate the support and guidance of our faith Patricia, love Dolly x x x

That was such a beautiful work for The Lord graced by a well-chosen image, that I hate to raise any concerns. This is just VERY small. The line just before your final line should read "fast asleep".
