LOL, very well done Harry. I do wonder who came up with the birds and needs as proxies for making, at least trying, to make babies. Great story, thank you for entering the contest. Terry.

Thank you, again for the honor. Yes, I too wonder about the birds and bees.

Wow! Go Susie! What a thorough and informed teacher she was! I like the way she used references that an eleven-year-old boy (especially one about to go fishing!!) would understand: tadpoles. Still, though, she kept it clinical and informative and even explained about the love part, too! You education was wonderful!!
May this fly you into the winner's circle and buzz you into first place. (I bet you like my subtle birds-and-bee references there, don't you? I'm Susie 2.0.)
PS But I do have one little question, though: Your friend, Jack? Was his last name 'Doff?'

I take it you knew some JDs. Actually, Susie could cause a dicky bird to pollinate like a bee.
-
So much for the Hollywood Girl Next Door stereotype from YOUR neighborhood!! Susie suddenly makes me feel that you grew up in Harlem.
-
And, no, no JD's around me. I seemed to attract the ones with a more foreign flair. Ones with names like Putd Himinmee.
-
I would love to hear those magic words too bad you are hidden away in upper New York. I learned a lot from Susie's book.
-
No, Soutside of Chicago.
-
With flame-red hair, a person cannot ever be hidden away. Besides, what a WASTE that would be!
-
Could not agree more.

Thanks for taking the time to read and provide encouraging feedback.

This didn't go as I expected. Two kids sat down and read a book to get reliable facts. It was so straight-forward it was almost a twist. I'm glad you got accurate answers for those questions.

Yeah, books can be a big help. But the book is probably ban in Florida. Thanks for the read and feedback.
