This was such a sad yet inevitable part of the story of Christ. He was abandoned by all, friends and believers. There was no chance things could go any other way. I thank him for his sacrifice. Without him, we would be nothing. Beautifully written. Gretchen

I thought you did a great job pulling the reader in with this personal account of the crucifixion, and the emotion in the voice was something we can all relate to. The details in the story tug at our sense of compassion, our sense of guilt, our hope in the resurrection. There's so many mixed emotions here. By creating this roman soldier and using his perspective you have made a story in which we can see ourselves, much like the story of Ben Hur. estory
