I can never hear this story enough, dear Mike, and the way you have written this, through the eyes and thoughts of Paulus, was amazing. I always get goosebumps on my arms when I read about Jesus. It is the loveliest story told. I wonder if we will be any different when He does come again, will we believe in Him, or will we turn our backs. It is not a nice world today, and God must wonder about us. Your story just brings his love for us, and the forgiveness His Father, promised us on Jesus' death out and touched my heart. Mike, your story is absolutely moving. I don't think I've ever heard it told with such insight. It is respectful, heartfelt, and flawless. I love the part about the blood being dark because of the darkness of the moment. I like the perspective of Paulus and how he could have intervened, but didn't because Jesus didn't want it. I also liked the smile of the Savior's face.
