Firstly remarkable artwork used with your poem, well done on the 575 syllable scheme. Very skilfully written words to convey the process of a poet or a writer goes through in order to create a masterpiece. Genuinely most of what we write comes from our past experiences. We thoroughly are the embodiments of the words we engraved on a piece of paper.

An excellent entry for the 5-7-5 Writers prompt. The syllable count meets the criteria. It is true that nothing can cause words to erupt and take form in writing like memories. We can sometimes see them clearer than an object two feet away. Nice job. good luck in the contest.

This was a great 5-7-5 poem. You got the syllable count right, and I think your use of memories to inspire poetry is lovely. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
