I read your milestone (first work) and your last to get a taste of your artistry. Do you mind if I call it dark humor? It brought imagery to my mind of someone deadly ill being role into the operating room and saying, " Now, let the suffering begin." Your passion is quite deep and explorative in your writings. An interesting flash fiction story. The ending really empathized the wife's wit. Was she trying to kill Randy? Who knows, but I think showing a good and strong marriage in the face of life's troubles will go over well with the committee.

Thank you! I based this on a similar event that happened to relatives. "Randy" is still kicking, so if she was trying to kill him she failed haha
