You should submit this to AARP. It has that humor that only the more seasoned among us can appreciate to its fullest extent! I smiled in a lot of places, but this one topped my personal list:
Once I bounced up steps in a couple of bounds
Now I climb sluggishly with hard breath sounds

Although the body doesn't move as it used to, the mind is still fresh and as young as it can be. And if you have mind, you still have soul. I love that you compared your body to wine because the saying goes, "It gets better with time" but that refers more to the taste than the consistency. Beautiful body of work!
