Hi Nomi, with Easter upon us and so much unrest around the world, your poem is most timely. I especially liked:
Hate is a sin that enslaves,
it condemns men to untimely graves.
(What you write is so true. N, did you ever notice the face of an angry, hateful person? First, they look much older than they really are. I guess all the "hate" ages a person beyond their years. Second, many times their face almost looks distorted as if the hate was pulling their face apart in bits and pieces.)

Your treasured review, no matter when it occurs, is precious to me, and very much appreciated. I totally agree with you, it is one of the main reasons I try to avoid getting angry. Another reason is that angry halts the ability to think. Regret over behavior influenced by anger is very hard to overcome. Thank you very much for your review comments.

Even though we may all look different with different characteristics and traits, the things that make us 'human' are all the same. A lovely poem, and a timely one for Easter, remembering the words of Jesus at His last Passover feast. When we do this in remembrance of Him we are showing our unity in His family, and this bond goes through all nations and generations. Beautifully written. Thank you for sharing.

I remember a man at my church explaining hate to me. He said the feeling hatred and being angry at someone or some people's existence is such a waste of time. It cuts your time of joy and happiness. Life only gives you so much time and then it's all over. And what accomplishments can be made for God by hating someone? None. Be joyful and love one another. It's what God wants from his children. Thank you for your wise statements. The two greatest commandments in the Bible are love God and then your fellow man. What about that is confusing. So called Christians who violate that are fooling themselves if they think they are pleasing God.
