This is a powerful poem about Karen. You give us an insight into her life. Being in constant pain, I cannot imagine. This is a perfect acrostic poem!

This was a great tribute to a great lady. She always has helpful and positive things to say in reviews, and I love her writing, as well. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

You're right about Karen it's amazing what she is exposed to each day, pain is extremely difficult to overcome, it becomes the centre of one's universe. To use Fanstory as a form of therapy, is clever and brave, well done, blessings Roy
Typo exc(r)uciating.

What a wonderful, heartfelt tribute in the form of an acrostic poem. It is so kind of your to share Karen's attributes and to let others know that her smiling face hides her pain.

I really, really wish I had a six! You should be able to see me blushing all the way over there! We are mostly old people over here, and I imagine quite a lot of us deal with pain and limitations. You are the sweetest thing ever. I thank you from the bottom of my pea-picking heart. Karen

Karen you are quite welcome, but I have to tell you this, and you my
dear, already know this: This wrote itself, all teafor2 did was hold the
crayon to keep it from coloring outside the lines:) teafor2
-
Tell your crayon thank you then. It was a very nice thing to do. I have been smiling all day. Karen :-)
-
You are welcome, and there was no need to say anything to my crayon, he
understands, we've been here before:)

There is a new lady here Marilyn Hamilton, she is very good. Read "Loosely Suess".She loves to write the little 55 word stories. She writes like me. High Praise! hahaha Karen

How thoughtful of you to express your appreciation in this fine acrostic!
Karen pushes through her pain and has demonstrated talent, humor, dedication to her fellow members and a wit sharper than a barber's razor!

Thank you for this tribute to Karen with your descriptive acrostic poem. It would help others appreciate what Karen deals with daily and yet she uses her energy to be a bright presence here.

I do and can imagine it since I too have many ailments that limit what I do every day. I suffer from pain not just physical but psychic pain as well. But that is beside the point. You wrote an amazing acrostic using her name and it is excellently done.
Thank you for sharing this tribute to Karen's wonderful ability to conquer her pain and produce great works of art for us to enjoy.

An acrostic ode is such a novel idea!
One thing I would change:
Did you mean "excruciating" instead of "excuciating"? I looked up the second word and couldn't find a definition...
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.
