Congrats on your win, and well stated. I think the border will be a bug issue this election. I think the Dims will try to get voters to focus on abortion rights. We'll see which issue wins out. Your limericks read very smoothly and you points were well stated. I was disappointed my limerick only got 2 votes, especially when I read the others that were also down at the bottom. I suppose it won't stop me from entering more contests, however. judi

I really liked your limerick...it deserved more votes. Definitely don'r get discouraged, i've recieved 2 votes on poems that l was sure would win. Oh, well. :) thanks again for reading and reviewing my poem.

Your poem is well written. It is obvious you only base your opinion on Trump's speeches and Fox news. God is love, Trump is only about hate. Holding up a bible doesn't mean he is the answer.

Hey, Boogienights, I'm not sure everyone can't see it the way you do. Are they just wearing blinders? I know some are entrenched with the D on the ballots, but how can they continue with someone who has allowed our country to be invaded. Like that's not bad enough, too many people are struggling just to put food on their table and gas in their cars. Thank you for being brave and posting this. Kudos.

Thanks for reading my poem, l get a little passionate about politics lately, but with good reason. America is going down with the current administration. I hope things turn around. :)

If Trump wins, I fear he'll be assassinated, that and a civil war will break out. The Dems just won't have it. Look at how all of this has divided America?
Anyway, I know this was supposed to be light, so I will end here. I appreciate your entry and thoughts, your love for America, and wish you all the best in the contest.

Hello Sharon. I hope your evening is going well. Just a couple of points on your limerick suite: There is no evidence that Hunter Biden came close to breaking the law, much less any evidence that his father has done so.
The Oversight Committee was using Russian propaganda and Smirnov, the FBI source accused of spreading Biden lies has now been arrested. Moreover Hunter has never run for any office, so it's premature at best to be referring to the Biden's as a crime family when the Trump family's financial entanglements are much more problematic.
That said, I really like what you have done with your poem and presentation, with the red, white and blue of the American flag. It demonstrates your deep love and commitment to your country which is always admirable IMO.
