I enjoy your train of thought and have asked to share similar thoughts this coming Sunday about the Grace of God, which I concluded is in everything good thing we mortals enjoy, and His Atonement and Resurrection are the highlight of His earthly ministry.

This is a lovely poem about Easter. The word "renewal" is perfect and the feeling of renewal comes through, not only in the words, but in the whole tone of the piece. My favorite part is "walking with Him among the trees, trails, beaches."

I enjoyed your Easter poem, and I appreciate your trying to describe the Joy you feel at this occasion... especially when you mention the whales breaching. But also, birds singing and flowers blooming as you walk along the trail. I know I sure am looking forward to start my walking regime on the Grand Bay Trail.
Don Francisco wrote a song called "The Traveler/Joy" about the risen Jesus. You can look it up in Youtube... great song from 1982!

Did you ever listen to his wife's music? Wendy Hofheimer Francisco sang with Mary Rice Hopkins in their younger days. They put out one album I have, called "The Wind Came Singing" with some great songs on it. Wendy also wrote a song called "Where Is The Lamb", a fine Easter song. Look them up! Wendy is a talented guitarist! /Kimbob

I thought this was a beautiful poem that does a great job of celebrating Easter - or more importantly Jesus rising from the grave. I thought your poem also was beautiful. I love the positive message not just about this but moving forward even during tough times.
