Congratulations on post number 3500! You are a prolific author of immense talent!
You broke from your usual iridescent twilight color scheme feel in this one. I like it. A six for my favorite poet!

Congratulations on your milestone post! 3500 - wow! As an Aussie, we are very familiar with bushfires and I could really resonate with your images and description. For all their destructiveness, fires do generate regrowth. Some plant's seeds can only grow once fire has opened them up first.

Wow, Gypsy you made it to 3500. I am so impressed and want to congratulate you on this stellar achievement. So exciting. Your verse is dramatic and catches the reader's attention and holds it... well done.

This image is so sad because Canada had this happen to them in June of 2023. Also, California had fires in 2020. The fires were difficult to get under control. Your poem is a reminder.

Another fine poem, Gypsy, and I was going to comment about another careless person with a cigarette or fireworks until I read your comments. I made assumptions based on the troubles we have around here

Hi MariVal,
I'm all about renewal... in fact, I too have been feverish on my journey... on the journey of self discovery. Recently I have been choked down on the billowing clouds of smoke that have charred my edges and blackened my thoughts... but I do know... tomorrow is another day, an opportunity for greater possibilities leading to greener pastures.
I felt like I needed to read this stunning Gogyhka poem today for a reason... sent from a higher consciousness to still my ways... thank you!
With our thoughts we create...
renewed hope.
And congratulations on such a high achievement... 3500 writing posted... wow! Very Impressive my most talented wordsmith friend!
Warmest regards,
James.
Ps... where can I find your poem I read and now can't find? Yes, you know the one... Falling over the edge of sleep.

I'm assuming you mean the Mediterranean sea. I'm sorry, I saved it in the wrong book. It was in my 2024 Gypsy's haiku, it's supposed to be in the 2024 Gypsy's free verse book.
Thank you very much for your exceptional review, as always, I love the way you understand my writing so well. I pray your green pastures are around the corner. Thank you for the exceptional six stars review... straight from the firmament we share.
Con cariņo,
Marival

Thank you for the direction... I'll read it again soon... and yes, the beautiful word 'Firmament' . The magic of the azure sky within heaven! Sorta has that sound that tucks in and swaddles you at night.

Firmament is almost identical to the Spanish translation... firmamento (*÷*)

The pictures prove that the fires were the way of controlling, Gypsy. It was the way of the farmers. Your words were all about controlling the fires. Very well done and sadly enjoyed. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

This is very well written, and I enjoyed listening to it. It reminds me of my own childhood when I was growing up on a farm and how that every year we would burn off the garden area for the next year's planting season. Have a wonderful day. Patricia
