I love funny stories that have surprising endings. Enough with mundane stories that do not entertain, only bore me. Your talent is evident in the way that you tell your story in such a way that the reader has no clue to where you are taking him until he gets there and is both surprised and pleased to be there. Congratulation on your recognition.

This is fun! I enjoyed the idea of not knowing who you're talking with online... and that maybe that person isn't always what they seem. The line "It turns out that some of you live not far from me" is both creepy and kind of fun. Is this person a bad guy? Are they reformed and trying to make friends... honestly, it can be read either way and that's what makes this so cool.

I once thought that maybe people on this site could do a nerdy thing and have a convention where we all meet at some central place. That way we could really meet and put faces to names.

Thank you. Just to be clear - I'm not a prisoner! This piece is fictional! :) The twist at the end is supposed to give us pause and realise that anybody can pretend to be anyone online - and sometimes that can be scary.

Funny. A number of friend thought they had found a new on line pal that might actually turn out to be the person they been hoping for in there life/ There picture was handsome and they seemed smart and had impressive jobs but they fhey learned the email was from a prison cell.

I used to work hard physically, and there are limited times when I still do, but the old bod doesn't want to co-operate anymore, so what used to be fairly easy tasks for me have become more difficult. I stay up late reading as well, but it's mainly books. I have several by my nightstand and almost without fail I have to read before I go to sleep. I catch Fan Story whenever I can, but sometimes it goes a few days without catching up, then it's hard to review all the great posts.
