Lol. Great humorous take on all the ways to write and be creative. I have written stories but am more comfortable with writing poetry. I've never won a contest for money on FanStory but have fortunately been lucky enough to win several other prompts. And it felt good! Lol. Thanks for sharing this with us.

As to birthdays, they're coming too fast these days! ugh! But thanks for the birthday wish!
How do you like the time change? Am trying to get to bed earlier because I sure wake up earlier.

Hi Katharine,
I hate the time change. Here in Alaska, this time of year it gets dark early anyway, and now it's an hour earlier. We won't really start seeing it get lighter until about February, so that's a long time off. Lots of darkness between now and then. Unfortunately, I don't see so well in the dark anymore, so I try to get everything done in the daylight. I end up falling asleep in front of the TV lots of times. With so much darkness, the night seems to last forever. I still don't go to bed early. When I do go to bed, I stay up and read most nights.
I know about the birthdays gal, but what do you do? I guess we should be glad we're still on top of the dirt.

Not unless the writer submits to them. I don't think editors ever contact anybody first. I just meant after the writer had submitted something to the editor of whatever, and the editor contacted her/him and accepted it.
