I admit I am a little confused, but only about the names. I laughed through it and admired how the tale was written. If I am permitted to read more of your work, I will learn something. A well deserved win

Wow! I loved it! Zanny and really funny, Douglas. It crosses between the movie Airplane and a Saturday Night Live skit.
I'm not sure I gathered enough from the read to make an assumption about the killer, which was your intention. That said, the blender was a key clue in this crazy zanny saga! I say that in a good way! Best, JohnC

Thanks, John! The clues were very subtle. Teddy me ruined his love of smoothies(blended) and his outbursts were narrating the scenes and insulting various characters. Appreciate the awesome review!

Great story. I can see it ss a humorous play. Loved the visuals if each character. And what a surprise ending about Teddy... but is it really a surprise? I wondered about him the whole time.

Ha! There were subtle clues like how his outbursts seemed to target the situations and his love of smoothies.

    Fun contest!

Well, Douglas, this was a fun tale albeit a bit long. It's head on crazy humour and I quite like that. You got the characters down to pad. And yes, I didn't guess the murderer, so mission accomplished. Ulla:)))

Ha! Yes it had a word minimum, but I did ramble on a bit. Glad you laughed, my friend. The clues it was Teddy were quite subtle. Thanks for the review.

Very funny murder mystery, Bill. I did not guess the murderer, so mission accomplished.

I loved all of Winston Parker's malapropositions which snacked of Norm Crosby and Archie Bonker. My favorite character, however, was grandma whose quest for sweet treats rivals my own.

This was a comedic gem!

WOW! WOW! You took me on a whirlwind, creative and imaginary, swiftly paced, humorous ride. I thought the killer could end up being Paco, but not because I picked up any clues along the way. I missed them all. I based my guess on the fact that Paco was least likely. That's why I was surprised to find out Teddy was the murderer. Now I have to go back and look for clues. This is fun.

You did a phenomenal job with your assigned genre and use of both objects. I thoroughly enjoyed this murder mystery, and hope you win the contest.

I may be losing but the fact that so many loved this is a testament in itself. In fact, I think this is my favorite contest that I have entered due to its challenging nature. Thank you for your great words and awesome sixer.

This is hilariously naughty. I am laughing way to hard to don a decent review. It is well, written, totally silly. I can't wait to see who wrote this. I wish whoever the best of luck in the contest. Evi

You are clearly a good writer and very clever with the play on words in this writing. I think maybe fewer examples of this families weirdness might have been good. The reader may tire of hearing again what they already know? Even though reading about the underbelly of these characters is presented in a humorous way, I still found it disturbing but that is about my personal preference rather than the quality of the writing.

Thank you, Judith! Some of these get a bit long when you have a word minimum but I do understand the darkness of the satire and the repetitive issue.

Hilarious! I loved this! The humour is simply brilliant. It's a bit long and I found my attention wandering at times but something very funny would always bring it back. Beautiful characterisation. Captain Rory is a delight and, of course, Teddy, the star of the show! I found one small edit: para starting:"I can explain that beret...I took (her) there last" I actually didn't guess the killer so a well deserved six here! Good luck! Debbie

Ha! I never look as it is nerve wracking and I don?t want to feel that way about my writing. Someone told me I fell behind. I had nerves of steel as I arrested an escaped mental
patient when he tried to steal a high-low last week. Makes it silly to feel nervous and let these contest have that affect. Yet, on some level?it feels so vibrant. Ha!

You've certainly covered a lot of ground with this story and kept this reader guessing throughout until I finally figured Teddy was the culprit. Thanks for sharing.
