Thanks for sharing the photo, notes, and wonderful news, Ulla. I am glad Denmark qualified. It looks like your daughter and granddaughter are very warm and loyal fans. It is going to be hard to beat those smiles. I'm not sure how you root for three countries at the same time. I guess it relates to the cliche "May the best team win!" Now, I can really root for three countries. If Denmark falls out of the European competition, which will be played next year, then my next favourite will be Scotland. No question. And if they fall out as well, then I can root for Spain if they are still going. 18 counties are going to play against each other. A lot will be defeated until a winner is found. It sounds good for Denmark, Ulla. When I was younger, soccer was hardly ever played in the United States. It has come a long way since then. Maybe we'll meet Denmark someday in the World Cup.

I know, when I flew into the US, I was a flight Attendant for 20 years, in the mid seventies no-one knew what soccer was. That has all changed. My American brother and I often laugh about how much it has all changed. Ulla:))) if you didn't realise, I'm half Danish, half American and I live in Spain. Lol. Ulla:)))
