This was a perfect short flash piece as well as a terrific character study. The hips compared to sand dunes completed a perfect visual. Beautiful imagery throughout. Gretchen

What a fantastic tanka, Gypsy. The dual pictures portrayed a gypsy woman and a gypsy design. Your words were of a delightful adventure of a true gypsy woman- the eyes, the hips and the scents were all of this. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

I remember while studying at the University of Salamanca, a group of gypsies came into town. I was completely amazed by them. It was very interesting. Your artwork is beautiful. Again, thank you for sharing with us. We are blessed.

I loved Spain. I would like to go back as an adult and see it through adult's eyes rather than a 16-year-old. I was fluent in Spanish, but it seems I'm forgetting it.

Lovely description of a gypsy's life in your tanka. Her eyes are full of sky because she is at home everywhere on this planet and she takes with her the portable music of the guitar.
