I do understand. Here is Texas we are having controllable heat. Please just take care of yourself. We will be here when things get back to normal. LOL Whatever that is.

Thank you so much, Barbara. I'm so glad to say that we're now back to normal temperatures for this time of the year, which is in the lower nineties. It's lovely. Let it last!.Meanwhile, I'm working away. Ulla:)))

Thank you for letting us know. I can understand. As you may have heard over the weekend, Jannypan died and she was living in Texas where it was over 100 degrees for more than month. I don't know if the heat played a part. Please take good care of yourself. It's healthy that you took time off to be with your friends!

Thank you so much Helen. It's quite a shock to learn that Jan has passed away. I read a lot of her work over the years. I know it's been hard in Texas, just like here. We've had 100-110 for more than a month. Fortunately, it's dropped to the lower 90's which is much better and normal for this time of the year. Hugs, Ulla:)))

I tell my voice, flute and piano students, "If music isn't fun, then we've completely missed the point." The same is true with writing, Ulla. If it's not going to be fun, then skip it that day. And do NOT feel guilty about it. You are a very disciplined person. If you opt out a day or two, it does NOT change that! It's commendable, though, that you are so conscientious to your readers, though, and let them know! Have some ice cream; in my world, that solves every problem imaginable...ESPECIALLY heat!!! xoxo

Thank you so much, Rachelle. I couldn't agree with you more. We're now back to normal summer temperatures, thank goodness, and I'm getting active again. It's been hard on all of us. I'm not holding my breath, though. August is bound to bring some more heat. It always does. Hugs, Ulla:)))

I know you do, Ben, and I miss him as well. But first, I want t write this other book. I needed a break from Lorenzo, and so did everyone else. I will come back to him. His story is far from over. Ulla;:)))

It's been awful here, too. I read that in Iran, the temperature reached 152 degrees. How do they stand it? We've only reached the 100 mark a couple of times. I've already had enough of summer.

We are also having an unusual summer. It is either too hot, or it is raining. I do my best writing in the winter, when there are fewer responsibilities to distract me.

Hi Paul. The thing is I would like to do more writing right now as it is always he Ard to get work done in the summer. But we've been between 100-110F during the last month and it's taking its toll. We're fortunately down in the nineties now. So much bearable. I do know it's bad in the US also. Ulla::)))

You chose the perfect image for your announcement, Ulla. I am sorry to hear your weather is so hot. I think everywhere is experiencing something. For quite a while a number of weeks ago, we were dealing with the smoke from the fires in Canada. It impacted a good portion of the US.

I can understand why you don't feel like writing. Hope things settle down soon.

Ihi Pam, I know, I read about all that bad smoke coming down your way. It reminded me of how it was here last year when we had all the bad fires.
Now, the temps are much better here so I was working on the next chapter when the sad news came in about Jan. I was very saddened when I heard. I've been working on an acrostic and it's just been released. I so wish I could have written in prose. Ulla xx

I am glad things are better, but it was very sad hearing about Jan. When someone has a book, and it's set up right, you can choose the genre as long as you haven't released what you wrote.

For a comfortable life come north of the jet stream. There was so much rain here today that not a ball was bold against Australia. So they retain the ashes. Sorry. You probably have no idea what I am talking about lol.
