Wonderful Kahpot. I love the story in the acrostic. I looked at it as a love story and not as a religious work, so I am unsure how the imagery fits here. Overall excellent. Thanks, Theresa

Thank you, Theresa, yes, it was a story about love, though a love lost, I guess I was trying to say that she was now in heaven, re. the artwork, as always very much appreciated****kahpot

Cancer is the most hideous of diseases that the powers of darkness have ever conceived, all sickness is of the evil forces of the wicked one. There is no sickness in Heaven, only wholeness, this is superbly written Kim, well done, blessings Roy

So sorry for your departed loved one, Kaput. Please accept my sincerest condolences. I certainly know about that loss many times over.

Beautifully penned and illustrated acrostic, tender too. I felt this deeply.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally :))

Such an impactful acrostic poem here. Your cadence is good and an adept use of rhyme carries along a theme of not ready, but cancer has its own course of action.

Just a couple of typos:

Not yet ready for journeys (journey's) start

Unyeilding (Unyielding) to the needs above

Very well done, kahpot and many thanks for sharing. :)

I liked reading this poem. It is definitely an acrostic poem. Cancer is a hard subject to write about. So hard, in fact, that I've only written two poems in 30 years about it. Favorite line was: Dreams remain as memories form
Only one suggestion on the last line, maybe try:
Every day since you said goodbye.

Very moving and quite sad, as final good-byes are never easy. And cancer is a cruel and savage illnes. My own brother-in-law died from it just last Saturday. I see the grief and pain of separation, and the loneliness of being left behind. Well written acrostic!

You did an excellent job with your acrostic, Kahpot.
Your words were well thought out though poignant.
The rhymes were an added bonus--many acrostics
seem more like a list. However, your told a story of lost
love and hope still held on to by the man. I'm sorry
for the loss of his beloved wife. The image was a perfect
fit.
Thanks for sharing and caring, Jan

The author's words are heartfelt and presented with emotions and love. This poem gives a detailed account of what a love one goes through
when someone is dying. Thank you for the author's notes. The poem
flows and connects well. The artwork is lovely and goes well with the
words and theme of this poem. Have a great weekend!....Maria

A sad poem. One I can identify with.

Excellent acrostic poem. You grasped the form well.  Nice  presentation.  Your descriptive words flow well expressing clear  mental imagery.

This is a very well written acrostic, and you have presented it beautifully. It was a pleasure to listen to and watch long as it was being really loud to me. I am in rehab because I broke a couple bones in my body. It's gonna be a while before I'll be out of the rehab. Patricia.
