A series of unfortunate events is the best way to describe what happened in this chapter, or perhaps, this is just how a young adult story should progress. I think you are doing a fine job, and the scenes play out like a tv show or movie.

Well written, and the circumstances are well described, As it is the first time I've come across this story there is a big mystery element for me as well - I'll have to catch your next chapter to see what our heroine is going to change into... or will it just be a big pile of vomit? (sorry, kidding). JL
