A powerful and poignant verse of betrayal set off with a stunning image. There is an inevitability about her crashing into this "ultimate despair" which leaves her broken and alone. This is all very evocatively expressed with lovely imagery and progression through to the finale contained in those two last lines. I love the imagery in particular in the first stanza but there is a typo needing fixing in line 3. "blistered into a drama of deceit and despair" - so good! Well done. Take care Debbie
