Actually a deadly serious topic which has caused almost irreparable harm to the US. From afar I choose to mock the real criminality while simultaneously being glad I don't have to experience it close up.

I don't think my little drop of mockery will impact the oceans of commentary about the foolishness and criminality of the former President. I simply look forward to the walls of the law closing in on him and hopefully also squashing those who attempt to ride on his coattails.

Excellent! What some don't understand is what aggravates me most is that the "law and order" party will stop at nothing to protect him. If I did one thing similar as an ordinary person, I'd be in prison with no one supporting me and running blocker. Pathetic.

As I got in trouble once before for responding about politics and not the actual substance of someone else's work, I would add that you did this in a very reasonable manner with great word choice and not simply an angry diatribe. The suit of Teflon was used cleverly as well!

I agree it is almost unbelievable that the bloated, angry fool has managed to escape justice for so long. I'm cheering every time the long arm of the law gets closer to ensnaring him!

Thanks. It's not great poetry, but it makes me feel better to know this horrible stain on the human race will eventually face some consequences for the myriad crimes he has committed.

I have quite a few anti-Trump poems but I don't think they're worthy of a book - not when there are so many more pleasant things to write about!

Thanks, Chrissy. the drawing is from the court artist during his arraignment in Manhattan. Later he tried to claim he enjoyed the whole process. Ha, ha! Don't think so.

I'm patient enough to wait for the Teflon to wear off. It's coming this year with a deluge of charges.

Although I think the inciting of the January 6 insurrection is a far more treacherous offense, the current issue is still over that porn star. That will probably not "stick" because countless politicians have used "hush" money to protect his reputation. I don't know why it matters as none of them claim to be models of moral purity.

That's where the misinformation works. The Manhattan case is not about paying hush money - that's not a crime. It's about falsely declaring the payments as business expenses and presumably claiming tax benefits on them. The case looks black and white. They're tiptoeing around it because of who he is and they really don't want to get it wrong!

That nuance is missed in our broadcast news which always brings up Stormie Daniels and her picture. It is missing the point but showing a piece of paper wouldn't have the same emotional impact that our news media is going after.

I'm just praying that he will never be able to run again. If you like that kind of satire I'm sure you would enjoy John Lithgow's books such as Trumpty Dumpty.

I've been very patient waiting for the walls to close in on this criminal and now it looks like it might actually happen. More indictments to come in the next few weeks I believe.

As for false accusations, I'd be holding fire on that one for just a wee bit longer. And stuck in the past? Donald Trump is the one fixated on the past - and do you really think we should not hold people accountable for criminal acts they committed in the past?
