The picture for this is marvelous. The poem stays on theme, and the rhyme scheme is steady. The flow is mostly smooth. Each stanza works on its own, and as part of the whole. The images make sense and are clear. Nicely done.

Excellent artwork. Temptations are all around us everyday distracting us from our real mission.
I especially loved the last line. Staying "focused" on the prize is paramount for the Christian.

I great poem on the danger of temptation and a plea to avoid it. I can understand it very well - I lived in Las Vegas for a few years (smile). There was temptation on every corner, but I managed to escape the devil's claws, lol.

Thank you so much for your review and rating. I can only imagine how many temptations you were exposed to in Las Vegas! I wonder if you became hardened to turning corners! Living in such a large country at least gives plenty of options for alternatives.

This was well written Rich in Theme design and Imagery.
It also, read well and flowed well with no Grammar Issues. . Temptation is Sin and Sin is Temptation.
Which is only Human.
But how we handle it afterwards?

Thank you very much for your review and rating. I think my best answer to how we handle it otherwise is: Easter. Only Jesus can offer redemption and a long-lasting overcoming of temptation and its effects.

Thanks so much for your review and rating, Bill. It's amazing that we all know the answer but can conjure up so many rational explanations why we should yield to it! Taking the high road is always the rough road but certainly builds strength of spirit and character!

Thank God for the victory of Easter, that we have a Saviour Who paid the price for our failures so we can enjoy a future free from the negative effects of temptations. As Don Quixote said, "When we fall, we shall rise again and woe to the wicked!" Happy Easter!

That's a nice poem and it rhymes well. Much wise advise on the poem. The good thing is, though, even if people don't do what is best or don't focus on God, God Himself, will still help mankind. God knows our hearts and has Mercy. There's always Hope. Beautiful writing! :))

What an special day to write the review: Easter Sunday, when our Saviour rose from the dead, defeating death and enabling us to get a victory over the temptations that never cease to seek to draw us aside from reaching our full potential of a life lived for love.
