A lovely Entwined poem Yvonne and I could feel the joy in your words as the bumblebee 'dropped his guard' and visited for a little while. I'm glad to hear that tornado missed you, hope you are doing okay.
Cheers
Valda

Thank you, Valda. It's a miracle we survived the tornado. I was praying so hard!!! It went down the street three houses from me, yet our neighborhood wasn't disturbed except for some small things blown into yards. A true miracle! Thanks for asking.

It's looks like spring has sprung for most of the country and it won't be long before all the blooms are blossoming and the bees and grasshoppers will be flying and flitting. Thanks for sharing.

I love your poem about the wonderful bumblebee! I look forward to seeing them in my yard. (They particularly like the lavender.) Enjoyed your line, 'He hovered o'er each bloom and gave each one its due. It was a joy to see.' It made me smile. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely poem.

Thank you for reviewing. Bumblebees are tiny miracles. They are aerodynamically NOT designed for flying.

I love that you write about casual observations and make them so special. I learned recently what wonderful pollinators these fuzzballs are, even more so than honey bees. Nice write and you are my inspiration for my own casual observations.
Cheers,
John

What a lovely thing to say. Just before the weather turned cold last Fall, I hadn't taken my hummingbird feeders down. Good thing I didn't because the bees swarmed them. I read they needed to be fed during the cold months.

Thank you for introducing me to this form. You did a wonderful job with it. The topic of the bumblebee makes me yearn for spring and the bees busy at work.

I just saw the first bumblebee of the year the day I wrote this. A tiny miracle in itself.

This poem, My New Friend, presented with three ABCBA-rhyming trimeter quintets, tracks the industrious drone from his workplace to the resting place within the poet's view and accounting. Nice.

Nice entwined form poem. This is a new one for me. I haven't seen any bees yet. I hope they are still around. By neighbors says they are disappearing. That is not a good sign.

Hi Yvonne,
This is a good entwined poem. I haven't done mine yet. I am a little behind.
It is good to watch the bee. He does important work with pollination to keep our world beautiful with all plants he helps grow. Most people would jump or walk away if a bee landed so close to them.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Joan

It is just such little moments of pleasure which enrich life daily. This moment will stay with you because you have written a poem to celebrate the happiness of his presence nd his industry. Lovely poem, and lovely image.

Hi Yvonne!

This entwined form is a lot of fun. You did an awesome job with this one. I bet your new friend appreciates you, too!

I am so happy to hear that you escaped terrible damage in the tornado. Is your power back on?

Finally got our power. We were lucky. It hit all around us. I mean three doors down. No damage on my block. Thank you so much for caring!
