Hi June,
This is a well done essence poem that tells us in simple words and rhymes what we are all meant to do in life. That is to enjoy life and try our best to remove disharmony from the world.
Congrats on placing second in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Enjoy your day and weekend.
Joan

Judy, great job on this verse and kudos on your talented write and presentation. Your theme is superbly delivered and relatable to all of your readers. I love the theme of dancing and releasing strife. I wish you luck in the contest!!

Thanks, Melissa, for your kind feedback. Thought I would this year with some positive thoughts. Just put on your red shoes and dance?

June,

I really enjoy the overall presentation for your contest entry. Obviously, your syllable format and rhyme scheme nicely satisfy the requirements. Your message is a strong statement about living the moment - THANKS for that!

Mark

P.S. Not a fan of fancy fonts for posts even when the message may seem to warrant the same. Also, while initial caps may be your poetry preference, IMHO then punctuation seems appropriate, especially after the last line.

I also favor a larger font size to improve visibility to FS reviewers.

I do love internal rhymes, particularly when they flow so naturally within a poem ~ even a two-line poem! Beautiful image and this reminds me of that old adage "Dance like nobody's watching!" I have zero dancing ability --but that doesn't stop me! (smile)

Good luck witht he contest!

You need to put on your red shoes like David Bowie suggested! Glad you enjoyed this short one with a positive message to end this year. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

These essence poems are such a challenge. You mastered it with the appropriate rhymes and a theme as well.
Dancing does take me away from my problems. I can't seem to worry and dance at the same time.
Well done. And, Merry Christmas June.

"Just Dance"
This is a Two Line Contest entry rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and flowed well with No Grammar Issues.
Good luck with your contest entry and have a Blessed Christmas.
