This poem was a wonderful tribute to your mother. You beautifully captured the loving influence she had in your life. You chose a very appropriate picture as well.

I just wonder if the title was supposed to be "Connected?"

This is a powerful tribute to a mother's love! The poem is autobiographical,following this unconditional love of a mother throughout life! The free verse is effectively used!
