Very nicely written.
Funny how we look to a calendar as if issues end according to an artificial timetable. Maybe it's that we use the calendar as a pivot pole, the barrel in horse barrel racing, to pivot our minds around, forcing us to look at things from a different angle.

Yes, it's been quite a year for you and all of us. On the world scene, the death of Queen Elizabeth 11, On Fanstory--wonderful members, and our own loved ones...I lost my nephew; he and my son were born the same year. Sigh! You took the words right out of my mouth. It has a been a long, hard year for me too, dealing with the last months of my father's illness, his passing, and then settling the estate. But it is over. I am glad this year is going and looking forward to hopefully a better year next year. estory
