Ulla,
You've captured a lot of beauty in this 5 - 7-5 poem.
I like that you give the reader a surprise in the last line when you contrast dark with jumping dolphins.
I hope you are well and get to write your novel.
I have been working on one for several years and I am only at the outline and character list. Lol. I hope to complete it by Fall.

I was just in Florida and saw dolphins everyday from the balcony of the condo I rented. They were so cute. It looks like you were in a sailboat. You poem described the experience well and the art is wonderful.
