This made me laugh! I really enjoyed all the puns, and your commentators offered great information about each contestant. I am surprised by the ending, which is cute. My only suggestion is the check the tenses of your verbs, which fluctuate from present to past tense. I enjoyed your knowledge of each President, humorously shared. Best wishes in the contest.

Bravo Zulu. Well done. Imaginative. Wise-cracking and politically astute. Won't comment on iambic rhythm and such because. who cares? Similes can put some to sleep. Not that this piece has either, but they ask for 150 characters, and I had to write something.

Hilarious! I loved your Battle of the Presidents.
I wasn't surprised by some of the underhanded moves some of the contenders used, but was surprised by the ending.
If only the presidential election could be decided this way...

Congratulations, whoever you are! I was rolling with laughter. What a great imagination that you have, and apparently a tremendous handle on history. What a hoot. My daughter was here and was cracking up as well. Thanks so much for sharing this humorous post. It was well worth a six. Well done.
Have a blessed evening.

This was an interesting approach to the Battle of the Presidents contest. Unfortunately your story was too long and in the end it dragged and palled. If you could shorten it and tighten it up, it would make it much more powerful. Sorry I can't be more positive with things as they are.

This is hilarious! You managed to put everyone just where they should have been. All the participants were portrayed pretty much according to their (Or lack of!) accomplishments, right down to Kamala Harris not doing shit, but grabbing the credit.
Terrific nicknames; Slick Willie, Horrible Hillary, Tricky Dick, wow!
Great, knowledgeable entertainment!

This was cleverly written. I enjoyed the different names given to moves, the rail-splitter, the D-Day move etc. next week's card sounds like it's as much fun. Good luck in the contest.

This was really a fun read, despite the inconsistencies (Pelosi trying to count out Biden). I could tell you were having a ball writing it, and that always carries over to the reader. A wrestling venue: Brilliant!

I'm your 'Host with the Most' Honest Joe Cronkite. Joining me in the booth as always is my partner in crime David Hinkley. [I'm sure I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know, but in reality David Brinkley's co/anchor was Chet Huntley. Walter Cronkite anchored alone, I believe]

Trump has Biden down, Pelosi starts the count 1-2, [Why would Pelosi want to count Biden out?]

Overall, this was a terrifically entertaining story. Thanks for sharing it.

Hi there,

Today we're in beautiful Washington D.C. for the 46-man Presidential Battle Royale- there would only be 45 actual men in the ring - Grover Cleeveland served two terms but they weren't consecutive. He was both the 22nd and 24th President....

Certainly fast and frantic and built as it went alone. Some pacing!

I think if you're begin to begin the piece by using speech marks it would have been better to have continued this all the ay through. either that or remove them from the beginning. It's never a good idea to change the presentation. it look sloppy.

but I think he can he pull off a surprise victory here.
- delete the 'he' after can.

You could be right David.- when using a direct addressment, it's customary to have a comma before the name.

but foreign objects have been banned from the bout. - if this is the case why mention Lincoln's rail-splitter?

weaponized wheel chair .- remove the spacing from before the period.

but Trump is the current belt holder having won it twice,- should end with a period rather than a comma.

Surely Nixon must have been in with a shout for the impeachment belt?

Probably what will be the most boring match on the card will feature a 10-man scramble between Marty Van Buren, John Tyler, Jimmy Polk, Jim Buchanan, Chet Arthur, Ford Hayes, Fabulous Frankie Pierce, Grover Cleveland and the Harrison Boys - you'd already used van Buren to face off with Reagan.

Biden staggers to is feet, - his feet.

Biden's falls back onto his back.- Biden.

I also believe the rules state a battle to the death which this didn't seem to have...

The Rail-Splitter is a move not a foreign object. Nixon was never impeached, I only put the men who were in the match. Van Buren had beat Reagan. Death was implied. Thanks for reading and reviewing I made some corrections.
