This is a beautiful piece! You capture what love feels like down to the cellular level and I love how you finish it up with "I'll cherish every single day with you for the rest of my life"...But my favorite line is "your love...so unexpected...now so vital. "Well done!

I love it when poetry or beginnings of a story follow you into wakefulness. It happens to me sometimes, too. I think it's a gift from our muse and the more we acknowledge and take up the offering, the more often it will come. When we stop paying attention, it goes somewhere else to someone who is listening. I'm glad you were listening.

At my age, the mind tells you that you are beyond finding love. The heart however always prevails.
Reporter huh, that was my dream as a young girl. I hope it's never too late to find a story and tell it.
