Pues si senora. Es un fenomeno muy conocido en mi area de Espana. Todos tenemos un poco de miedo durante esta temporada. It usually occurs from mid Sepember to the end of October. It doesn't happen in inland Spain. Thanks a lot for the review. Ulla:)))

Fingers crossed for you. You have insurance, right? We get these things over here every year with tropical storms and hurricanes. We had 15 inches of rain once in hurricane Matthew, it caused alot of flooding, lots of roads closed, flood damage in houses, but we made it through. The worst I had here got some flooding into the crawl space under the house and flooded out my septic system. estory

Thank you so much. Yes, I am insured, but I think my house can withstand a lot. It's almost 200 years old build of natural rock, and the walls are two feet thick. The frightening bit is what's happens all around us. I wouldn't have liked to experiensed what you did. We are okay now. It's still raining heavily, but manageable. Ulla:)))

Hi Giddy, I have to say, it's not been so cool, but the worst seems to be over. It's still raining heavily, but not as it was a couple of days ago. On Saturday we should back to sun and 25 degrees. I can't wait. A big hug back to you. Ulla:)))

How are you coping with the covid threat? I'm fully vaccinated. 90% of the population now are, so we live in relatively peace at the moment. We are totally covid free around here, at the moment. xxx

Well stay safe. I live in Wisconsin where the air just hurts my face in the winter. However, it's really safe weather wise compared to other place. Rock and mud slides sound scary. Stay safe.

Thanks a lot, Gloria. I'm still okay but the rain is never ending. A bit steadier, today, Thursday, but coming down relentlessly. Electricity has been on and off. Tomorrow more of the same and then it should break on Saturday, and we will be back in the eighties F or 25 plus Celsius and sunshine. Thank goodness for that. Ulla:)))

Hi Judy, sorry to be late in aswering, but the electricity has been on and off most of the time. It's still raining, sigh. I'm okay, so far. More rain tomorrow, and then it should break on Saturday. That's the time to find out what the real damage is, if any. Ulla:)))

Hehe, late September and early October is the season for the 'Gota Fria' but only in our area of the Med, mind you. It's something we all dread. They can be very dangerous. The light is now back on in a steady fashion, it seems, so I'm catching up.
The rain on the plain is a totally different story. Smile. Ulla:)))
