I love blue, but I don't often equate it with serenity as the Speaker here does. I especially like her glimpses of the planet as she imagines herself in space. Nicely wrought in rhythmic 4/3/4/3 stanzas. Rod

I had this very experience: "The clear reflections down below
"Of skies that were light blue
Would make my soul feel feather light
So quietude renews"
I was standing above the water of a pond looking down. It was fun to see how the clouds looked like they were below the water. It was a neat experience. I hope some other readers get to share their similar experiences.

This is lovely poem for the 'Color" contest. I did find it soft and peaceful and calming. There is so much color in our world and much is blue in one shade or another.

Blue has various descriptive names, I learn from this poem.
I like the rhyme and rhythm. It flows like a babbling brook;))

The title, Atomosphere of Blue, the chosen background colour and the image chosen all work together to reinforce the poem's topic.
The examples provided within the poem highlight a multitude of blue elements in Nature.
