Nice comparison of shame to a unwanted lover, who is coherencing you to go with her. Scary and mysterious to imagine. It's not your fault, comes to mind as would say anyone reading this. It's a nice piece helping with to see the struggle. Thanks for sharing again!

I tend to use my writings and journalings to help with my past pains.

Great analogy of pain as a woman who comes to you. There is an eery feeling in your words and emotions come forth. Excellent use of words and a smooth flow of rhyming words.
