Hi Lorraine...Thank you for reading this chapter and enjoying it. I'm researching juvenile and adult courts and procedures and trying to decide how far I want to go with it since she is innocent. I can't believe how many ins and outs happen when a 16 yr old is charged with murder. Thanks for all your kindness. Smiles, Carol

I liked Hank's advice the Ric and hopefully, they can work around that dishonest chief.

Delightful banter--you really keep things lively. Provocative intro re the legal system--it purports to be innocent until proved guilty but when you are innocent it indeed seems to be the reverse. Gripping episode; you continue to develop the characters and skillfully set the scene.
