Dear Ricky, It's true, you have to have "the gift from above" with your Heart, Mind, Soul and Spirit in order to write. I also have experienced the loss of a child, only from adoption, not death as in the case of your son. My sister's first husband attempted suicide in 1975, the day after Christmas, and I have know people who have attempted suicide and people who have died from suicide in my years in the mental health system. I took a serious overdose of medicine in 1985. you and I both know what it's all about! Dove

In my entitled piece,
"Triple Suicide Dance!"
Yes, in my book Entitled,
"Suicidal Intentions"
I did exactly that with a seven inch serrated steak knife to the chest twice.
And, hitting the heart valve the second time!
Now bleeding Externally, as well as, Internally.
Coating my Guinea t-shirt white tee-shirt crimson red.
I had no idea, nor didn't care.
And, after about forty minutes ?
Yes, of wanting to be with my son?
I came out of the bedroom...
And, this time...
Slashing the left side of my neck not Once....
Nor Twice...
But Thrice!
Yes, praying I'd hit the juggler and bleed out instantly?
But after another twenty minutes?
And, after leaving a blood trail from the couch to the bedroom?
I again came out I was upset now!
God wasn't does it take to kill yourself?
Yes!
...
So I took a bottle of Depakote.
(Used for depression and seizures.
And, if you know anybody that's feeling suicidal please call 9-11 which is what I did.
After my ex-girlfriend called.

I read it. It is excellent. To write with mind, heart and soul is a MUST but it isn't easy...
You work is excellent. I have a long way to go.
