You've given the can another kick. You can't resist, can you? I needed a chuckle this morning, and your witty-ness came through once again. I'm still grinning. Actually, I read some of Michele's review, and your conversation with her... so rich! I loved it. But I'm surprised that some of Fanstory's Trumpeters didn't slam you with 3 stars. There was one that bopped me on the top of my head a while back. I feel sorry for him... a bit ... but he keeps shooting himself in the foot!
I have to wonder who the lemming is you refer to in the first verse... wouldn't it be something if she was the same member that shot me down?
"her head's locked within a red cloud" ... the Republicans!
My favorite lines,
"Please get his bags packed,
for he has been sacked.
Remember to change all the keys!"
His famous last words will probably be,
"I'll be back!"
2024 isn't that far away!

That can is asking to be kicked, sitting in the way like it is. It seems the Trumpeters stay away from my items. They clearly don't want to be tainted by the truth.
Thanks for your appreciative review. Michele and I think very similarly on many things. It is a terrific side benefit of this site to share observations and opinions with people in other countries.

If only more thought like you and me. I wonder what does go through a lemming's mind to do that? I've stopped wondering what goes through a trump supporter's mind, it's just on a continuous loop of white noise static, repetitious BS.

This poem is based on the thought 'Would you jump off a cliff if someone told you to?" It seems that trump's supporters follow whatever he says. A legend persists that lemmings are driven to commit mass suicide when they migrate by jumping off cliffs. (Lemmings are small rodents that live in Arctic areas.) I've just put all those thoughts together. I am Mrs Santa Claws.

I keep thinking that they really should stop supporting Trump but somehow his supporters continue to be so loyal despite his actions show he wants to be a dictator. It's so sad. Whatever source that has so thoroughly brainwashed half the country has done a great job. The scary thing is many of these are pro-gun. Texas demanded that other states throw away their mail-in votes. Those that voted by mail wanted to keep healthy and not expose themselves to Covid!

It's beyond belief. It sure has been effective brainwashing. Guns and stupidity are a dangerous combination.
It was obvious that encouraging mail-in voting was a sensible way to avoid Covid exposure. Texas is being hypocritical to challenge it in other states. Maybe that governor is angling for a trump pardon by being such a sycophant.

Very well done and it could not be more relevant. Right now Trump and 18 State Republican Attorneys General have appealed to the Supreme Court to overturn the entire election and declare Trump the winner. I think it is called a coup.

Bring it on!! This entire debacle BS of trump's attempt to undermine the election process is how authoritarianism and a despotic leader are enabled to seize power. Resist!!
I am safe in New Zealand (we can feed, house, and clothe ourselves), but USA has a huge impact on global interactions.
I doubt that he will want to be out of the limelight for 4 years, so he is a dangerous loose cannon. Hopefully, he will be locked up after he is president... but he'll probably pardon himself knowing he is jailbait.
