I liked this poem nice and a bit different witch is always nice.. I loved this part in your poem "Seeking intimate wealth in the company of friends,
To experience lust, love, anger, tears and pain
Only to survive to see another moonlit night alone,
Then will you be at peace with yourself "

We are all pilgrims I think. Nice poem, but I think that you were supposed to write about what you wanted, should have, almost did in life. Toward the end You changed from "you" to "I", it was a little confusing. I do like you word choices and imagery "seek out your quest,Far from the comforts and well-lit avenues of life" and "As I look down the farthest side of my life with age" very good. I would like to think that I will say that at the end I will be truly content, but it is doubtful. Thanks for sharing

Every one makes a choice of the life they want to live, good or bad .That's why God made us free.Then you pay the consequences. I am glad the character in your poem made the right choice. Very well written.Good luck.
