A wonderful uplifting poem my friend. For believers and non believers there is hope. I don't know the exact verse and I don't have a bible close to look it up. The promise from God is that He sent His son to the world, not to condemn the world, but that not one soul will get lost. We all have souls, even dark souls still have a chance to be saved. It is not only for a few, but for everyone that wants to be saved.

Your poem is excellently written to challenge human thinking. It is man's ego which refuses to accept any power superior to his own. If one starts from Big Bang to the 21st millennium, one answer behind the creation and evolution is that it is beyond human comprehension. For the faithful and rationalists, one has to accept finally the existence of Supreme Power.

Whether it be fulfilling God's purpose for us or merely a matter of self-fulfillment, it is important to summon up the confidence to have a go in life. Your poem might just provide the inspiration for some of those who are hesitating to fulfil their potential - apart from being a good kick up the pants for procrastinators like me!

Dreams and aspirations - we all need to have them lest we become lost and do not recognize our path or value. Some believe it is God who lays out all our plans and religious and non religious people especially may question what our purpose here is. This poem explores this concept and the last line sums it up: "Remember through life's problems, that God will find a way."

Hi, Roy

_ So much truth in this.
_ No one knows what will come down our path in life.
_ We must realize our purpose by learning from adversity that comes our way.
_ I firmly believe the good Lord doesn't give us more than we can handle--IF-- we but realize everything does not come easily.
_ If it did we'd not learn how to grow as a person, realize our potential, or appreciate that which he blesses us with.
_ Even with the adversity I'm facing with my son, I know God's plan will be revealed when it's time.
_ Most thought provoking, my friend. Well penned.

Cheers & Blessings
Keep Smilin'... Jackie (*:*)

Hi Roy, this is what you are the king of on here, translating the wonderful words of the Bible into beautiful smooth poetry, your rhyming, rhythm and meter are once again excellent, I wish I had a six for this because it relates to my own life dear friend.

I think there is a deep confusion in many a man's mind that it is somehow selfish and un-Godlike to aspire, to make goals and try to achieve them.

You've hit upon a theme that, the lack of following, keeps man mediocre, and ultimately bitter.

Yet, "God says that we would perish-- if,
no vision we would seek."

Wonderful poem, Roy. Thanks for sharing it. Bless you!

Roy;
-I enjoyed your analytical annotated and emblematic commentary that you may was very entertaining to say the least. It really brightened my mind and furthered my interest into the subject of life and the contingency of whether or not pondering the fact of life is a waste of time. The other day I met an agnostic who said that the fact that he believes it doesn't believe in God but the fact is one could truly convince them that there is one thing surely he would believe in it. That's when I was confused when he said the word it. Not Him but it. I found this argument amusing to say the least.
-Technically I found your rhyming words are contingent to the meaning and concept of each line therefore making your reading and Rhythm smooth.
-Definitely your rhythmic meter, cadence, timing and tempo while helpful in making the reading clear, fluid and very easy.
-Thanks for sharing and posting this Roy and may a good Lord be with you always.

"God will find a way" - the title of one of my favorite Christian songs. I like your poem. It is encouraging and uplifting. The meter and rhymes are well done, and it carries a good message.
