It must be spring. Calendar wise anyways. Still talking the "s" word. Back to spring and Brooke when I get to read your poems on dandelions. Although the are artistically written, I still don't like that weed infiltrating my yard. Even bribing me with a photo of Sawyer can't change my mind.

Haha... Even though your poem was about dandelions at least the thought of spring made me smile... Nicely done, John

True, the dandelion seeds have heralded spring, and Sawyer helps in spreading cheer, the garden is a wonder to behold, such joy in God's creation.

Santa got his head blown off - his seeds floated aimlessly through the air; bumping on the fertile ground, Sawyer began to stare. He picked some stems and wished on Santa "take my wish seeds across the world," blowing hard he watched Santa take off and springtime was nearly here! Well done Mrs Seedy.

What little Sawyer has in his hand, I haven't seen in years. Because I live in the city now and not the suburbs where I grew up. Loved the poem and loved the first two lines: Treasure is transported in dandelion seeds.

Amahra, thank you so much :-) How sad that the city has no dandelions. You should find a nice park. Brooke

The photo and the poem are such a delightful ushering in of spring. The rhyming is perfect and the carpet of dandelion seeds is so visual. I wonder what is in Sawyer's mind as he carries that spring dust.

Dandelions are such wonderful golden orbs of luscious yellow.
Surely a true indicator of the promise of Spring in all its splendour.
I really like your delightful message and image.
I hope Spring brings a bright and colourful respite from the harshness of this Winter.

So very true! Blowing that fluffy dandelion white is an automatic smile-maker. Catching them, blowing them, replanting the seeds... It's great fun and a perfect spring activity. Oh the lovely days of spring!

Ha, yeah, it's spreading cheer, alright, especially if you're a Chem Lawn representaive, he he!

Cute little verse, Brooke. Nothing wrong with spreading a little cheer when we can, whatever the means of delivery!

Well done!

It was great, Brooke. I only wish I'd reviewed it after my ration of sixes were restored.

At least not for a better way for Sawyer on a warm spring day. Youth and its innocence would be wasted if, they were 100% aware of their surroundings with time in the mix. Just let them be. A lovely poem. Sweet Dreams. Tony
