Aw, sorry that this story came to an end as all stories have to. But I hope there is a sequel in the offing. These detectives must have something interesting to keep them occupied and we need to read more about them. Loved the story. Well done. luv jada

Jada, thank you so much for following along on my journey into this novel. I appreciate so much all your support, generosity and encouragement. I'm formulating a sequel, but must put the editing of this one on the front burner.
Hugs, Bev

Dear friend, I must confess that I missed some chapters since I've been very busy this year. I admire your style of writing and I hope you start another story.
It made me sad that Edward Pierce's body had to be donated since he had no next of kin.
You are a very talented writer, it's a pleasure reading your work.

Hi, Bryana. So nice to hear from you. Thank you for this grand review. Your support and encouragement are deeply appreciated.
Especially given the time constraints.
It is sad that Edward's body was rejected in death just as it was abused in life, but medical students learn a lot from the cadavers which translates to benefits for the living. As one reader remarked, it's good Karma.
Warmest regards, Bev

Hello, my friend. I am relieved that I'm not under the 'gun' to post regularly as I pretty much wrote the story by the seat of my pants as they say. But I have a lot of editing work ahead of me. Meanwhile, I'm going to be putting out a new project very soon on the site.
Thanks so much for the support and encouragement. I very much appreciate you!
:) Bev

This has been a wonderful story, Bev, even just the last part that I was privileged to read. I liked the way your conclusion covered all the characters because that is very satisfactory for a reader. In my humble opinion you are an excellent, (that doesn't seem inadequate,) writer and I for one admire your ability, Giddy

Nice to see your photo - and I bet you are chuffed that your book is now finally finished? Happy and sad together. You have closed the story well by letting your readers know just what happened to all the characters, good and bad. What next? Well done my professional-writing friend!

Another project in the wings -- a novel I started a few years back but never finished. The first chapter will be out next week.
Thanks, Kay, for your kind insights and encouragements. Yes, I am feeling a bit sad today, but I will be living with the novel for some time yet as I work to edit it for (hopefully) publication.
Hugs, Bev

Thanks, Charlie. I'm going to be putting an old novel back out. 'Tom' provided some basic instructions which I hope will become obvious when I go to do it LoL.

Bev, his epilogue brought tears to my eyes! One, because you wrapped everything up so nicely, and two, I will miss this amazing thriller. I must confess, I got a bit of a chill with Edward Pearce's body being donated to science. I wouldn't want to be the medical student cutting into that body. A six foot spider could emerge!
A HEARTY congratulations on completing a worthy project; a book and story of your own creation. An enormous accomplishment, Bev.

A six foot spider - that's a terrific visual, my friend.
Marietta, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your encouragement, support and generosity. I thought I'd feel a bit relieved when I typed THE END, but was surprised at feeling lost a bit -- and sad. I think that's why I waited so long to post the epilogue. BTW, I used your format as inspiration.
Well, as we've discussed, on to other projects. I'm lucky to have a wonderful friend and ally in you.
Hugs, Bev

Wasn't that the size of the spider that harassed Pearce in one of your chapters? At least it loomed that large in my imagination! LOL
-
Oh gosh, you have a better memory than I do, Marietta. You're right LoL. :)
