Hi Brooke,
absolutely stunning... I love these children's stories all wrapped up in intrigue and adventure... if I didn't already know how many sixes and reviews this would have had, I would have felt a tad embarrassed to offer what I had left in the way of stars for something so exceptional... well actually I'm still embarrassed... so I'm sorry, but this week it's like I needed ten or more just to get over the emotional rewarding... please know how much I thought of the way you flowed such a story... something of this length to have such perfect meter, rhyme and flow... just outstanding at every corner of the imagination... loved the pic... looks as though it might have been a close call?
With our thoughts we create,
the magic of word,
James xx

What a tale! Dinosaurs with manners and "fresh Harry meat"...the way you worked out the rhyme to mould on the message is unbelievable! Starting with the choice of name-excellent- all the deeds are full of magic and seem so true...
Splendid work!

Sawyer certainly looks like the intrepid and perhaps exhausted hunter in the picture--marvelous! I guess we call it type-casting. I enjoyed your rhythmic, rhymed couplets as you told the engaging, triceratops' tale. I relished "the wrong turn...straight to the past" and "a dino with manners". Another wonderful candidate for a children's storybook. Hip, hip, hooray! -Joan

Joan, thanks so much, my generous friend :-) Miranda caught the picture right after he bumped his head on the dino and put his hand to his aching head. Poor Sawyer, he has no helicopter mom to rush to him with sympathy and hugs. He has a mom who needs to snap a picture first. LOL Brooke :-)

Great pose--thanks for the back story! We're lucky to have Miranda's dedication to telling the tale with a good photo shot!! Hugs- Joan

Brooke, This is so darned cute. I love it. And the picture is amazing, it really looks like Sawyer has a real dinosaur in back of him. Wonderful read. Judy

Judy, thanks so much - yes, I think the Calgary Zoo did a great job with their dinosaur statues, or whatever they call them. I was just telling my daughter how realistic it looks. Brooke

This has children's book written all over it. I applied my normal test to this work, I read it to my seven year old grand son. Your poem passed the test, Christian demanded to hear it again, and again.
You need to find an animator. The pictures would almost draw themselves.
Brooke, once more you have excelled yourself

Your impeccable meter and creative rhymes are six-star worthy, but so is the creative story and the way you tell it in fanciful language and bouncy beat. I'm sure Sawyer will love this one! I know I did. Another picture book waiting to happen.(Congratulations on the POM nomination! It is about time!)

Fantastic. One of your best yet, imho. My son would have loved this as a kid. Hell, he'd probably love it now!
I don't have any sixes left, so:
There. That should cover it.
:)
