I'm not sure why people like the second Godfather best, but everyone does. I saw the originals and haven't watched a single time since. Maybe it's time for another gander? I wonder how the blood and gore will measure up to the movies made today?

Excellent

I agree that The Godfather is a stellar film.
But not for the blood and gore.
I think it's more notable for the psychological
portraits. The violence seems ancillary to me.
But that's just me.
