I'm not sure how I could ever beat a story like this. If it has some imperfections in the actual writing, I didn't notice them, as I was with you there all the way , praying and holding your hand.
Would you recommend this method of weight loss to others?
One small question- Do you think that "right buttock" would have sounded more professional than "right bottom"?

I put right buttock the first place, but after a few reviews, I felt I had been too graphic. One person gave me a 4, and said I made a lot of mistakes, but didn't tell me what they were. I was afraid that was one of them. I'll change it back. It's funny you used my exact words.
I definitely would NOT recommend this method of weight loss, but I can't argue with the results. My blood work has never been better.
Thank you for the stars and for "holding my hand" through it.
I knew you cared. I remember when I came back on here and the support you offered.
Take care, my friend,
Rhonda

Your journey from relying on men to trusting God, is so compelling. I couldn't stop and found myself thinking about a scripture that says, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
We forget that there are so many prayer warriors around us. In time of need, they are there, willing to lift us up. I've found that hospitals and medical staff are so very likely to be the silent pray'ers. How wonderful that you had such a gracious network of love that wouldn't let you go.
God bless.

Thank you for the six stars, and the support, LaRosa. You are so sweet, and so right.
At one point, they left me alone in the room they were going to do the drain procedure in. I was so scared, and so weary of pain and procedures. I started singing, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, sweetest name I know..." just so the name of Jesus would be in the room.
I'm not one to normally do such a thing, but, as I said, I had done it "their way" for six weeks, and it didn't work.
This time, it did.
Thank you, again, my friend,
Rhonda

Thank you, Linda. How very sweet. I learned a lot about God that week that I hadn't really understood before. I also learned how other people can love and support you, even though they don't have to. So many people came out at that final point and it took me by surprise. It still does.
Thank you for being one of those generous souls,
Rhonda

It might have been a tough journey you had to go through.
But you have your faith, believe in the power of prayers.
I won't go into the SPAGS that need to be looked into, but I
still feel that your story served its purpose - as your testimony -
very well.
It only now remains to champion your way forward, and I
wish you all the best with the contest and good health.

I wish you would go into the Spag. This is a contest, and I need to smooth out the mistakes. It doesn't mean you don't care about the subject. Writing is writing, and I can use all the help I can get.
Thanks so much,
Rhonda

It is therapeutic to write this experience down, all can learn from it. How different things are, when we include God in our journey. The power of prayer is seen in your experience and I am glad you are recovering. Best wishes for the contest.

Thank you, my friend, for the wonderful review and sweet comments. You are right about including God in our journey. Sometimes I forget to give Him credit, and I'm doing that with this post. I do so appreciate your time and comments,
Rhonda

Hi Rhonda, I can see that you've had a difficult journey with your illness. I sure hope you'll never have to endure again what you went through last year. Thanks for sharing this very personal story.

Wow, Rhonda, what an amazing testimony. So sorry you had to endure it, especially being aware and feeling all that pain...that's frightening. My favorite part is the peace you felt at the end. You look great by the way. May God continue to cover you with his love.

Thank you, Karen, for the wonderful stars and comments. It?s certainly not something I want to go through again, but it was an experience I felt like sharing. Now back to fantasy writing!

Your story was devastating to read and really tugged at my heartstrings. However, I feel your dialogue and grammar could be greatly improved. It is written quite informally with incomplete sentences and run on sentences that you might use in conversing with a friend, but I don't feel it's proper in a contest setting, or publishable manner. Hope this helps.
Suffice to say (comma) it was an endurance contest that could be rivaled only by extreme sports ... not that I've ever done any. I don't like pain,(no comma) and I don't like inactivity. I don't like taking medication,(no comma) and I don't like being messed with.
the well-educated, (no comma) and well-meaning medical personnel.
I started running fever, had even more pain (who could tell, right?). Back I went to the hospital. It was more than I could insure. (Sentence is awkward. Needs to be reworded)
The drain itself went through my right bottom and into wherever it went close to the infection. (awkward)

Hi there;
Thank you for sharing this part of your story with us. I am so sorry you had to go through this ordeal - it seems one never knows of another's pain.
Your account of the events was straightforward and matter of fact. I didn't feel you were asking for sympathy or feeling sorry for yourself - you are just speaking of the event.
Good luck in the contest,
~patty~

Thank you, Patty!
What a wonderful review. I wrote it to explain to some of you why I was out for so long. Some knew some, and a few knew more, but no one knew all.
I try and give support to all who need it on here, and there are many who feel the same way. We are a family, really.
Anyway, I knew I needed to give God the credit, as I truly could not have made it without His help.
Take care,
Rhonda
