Dear Mystery Poet,
This is a cool and very relative poem -- perfect timing with the eclipse so near! *smile* This poem perfectly describes the moment of the darkening - when the skies grow black and the warmth of the sun is gone for a bit. Nice job! Good luck in the contest!

Wow! This one is short sweet and to the point. It is in perfect format and the message is crystal clear to this reader. That last line was the hard punch. "Turns warm hearts cold" Yikes ... great write good luck. xoxo Kiwi

Thank you for your review. I tried to get a tone, I wanted to leave the reader cold, because that is how I feel when the sun disappears.

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem about the moon and the eclipse of the sun this coming week. It is a natural wonder and it does not happen often. We should enjoy this wonder that many of us will not see again.

This 5-7-5, Cold, has the right set up and comes in advance of the expected eclipse. The extension to our own shadowed empathy is an interesting connection that needs to be explored further.
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.
